Becky McKay

Hello! I would like to introduce myself. I am Becky McKay. I graduated from Central Michigan University and received my masters from Grand Valley State University. I began my journey at North Godwin where I did my student teaching with two wonderful mentors. I then was blessed to get a 1st grade teaching position at South Godwin where I continued to teach until South was closed and I returned to North to teach 2nd grade. I am looking forward to all the faces I will meet as I continue my journey here at Godwin. Not only am I blessed with a classroom full of children each year, I have 3 beautiful children of my own who have stolen my heart and make me proud every day. I am lucky to be called their mom! In my spare time, I love spending time with them snuggled up on the couch for movie night or out cheering one of them on while they play baseball, football, or dance. And when I have some time to myself, I love to read a good book or just listen to music.
