Carrie De Mull

I have been a parapro in the Godwin Heights system for 14 years.I started helping in preschool at South. When South closed, I went to North to help in the Reading Room. This fall, I came to West and am helping in the ECSE preschool with Emily Clay. You could say that my heart belongs to the little children and helping them get ready for school.

After high school, I went to college to be an accountant. I spent two years taking accounting classes. I eventually got married and had my own children. I was a stay at home mom that liked to help in my child's classroom. It was in doing this that I found my real passion, working with children. I then finished my degree taking many child development classes. After doing this I was hired at South Godwin to work in the preschool and the adventure began.

I have lived in the Godwin Heights area for 27 years. My children have all gone through the Godwin system. You could say that I AM GODWIN! I have been married to my husband Tony, who is a Godwin graduate, for 33 years. In my spare time, I love to go camping with my husband and my 4 grandchildren. I spend as much time with them as I can. We like to spend time exploring all over Michigan seeing what new things we can find out about this wonderful state we live in.
